Following the success of the TTNQ training seminars in May 2009 to mainly first tier cities, TTNQ organized a second round of training seminars in March 2010 to introduce the Tropical Champions brand to the travel trade industry in Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangdong Province and Hong Kong. The training was designed to be fun, interactive and consistent to ensure maximum participation for the best possible knowledge retention.
All collateral, presentation and displays produced incorporated the Tropical Champion brand which was developed to reflect the brand of TTNQ. The branding design and hero images were the same as the first round of Tropical Champion training in 2009 to ensure consistency in the travel trade industry. The presentation was entirely in Chinese to ensure that participants understand the content fully. This included the training manual, power points and all aspects of the presentation. As Hong Kong is one stop this year, traditional Chinese version of invitation, power point and training manuals were also provided. Participation was also encouraged by incorporating a considerable amount of questions and answers periods. Finally, to assist with the active participation each person who gave the correct answer to a question, was treated with a gift. All participants were given a personalized ¡®Tropical Champion Certificate¡¯ at the end of the training seminar.
Results:
The training covering 4 cities and reaching 250 travel industry professionals was a great success. Tropical Champions training seminars achieved its objectives as ATR received positive feedback and more than 30 requests for training power point presentations.
